Hydrocoll T is a clear solvent based temporary protective
coating for use on glass fittings in paint spraybooths to
collect paint overspray and facilitate easy maintenance. After
application, it dries to a tough film. Does not reduce the
transmission of light by any practicalextent. Easily peelable
when necessary. Hydrocoll T can also be used as a general
purpose protectivecoating on ferrous metals and aluminium.
Method of use
Use as supplied. Do not thin prior to use.
Coverage max. 2 m²/ltr.
Touch dry after 10-15 minutes, peelable after 1-2 hours.
Apply by spray using either gravity or pressure feed methods.
Apply 1 double pass wet-in-wet, thick enough to give a film
of ± 0,08 mm after drying, to achieve easypeelability
from all smooth metal and glass surfaces.
Do not apply to painted or plastic surfaces orother solvent-sensitive
surfaces like rubber etc. Application with normal spraying

Simply peel from the surface when the coating is contaminated
and light visibility is becoming impaired.
Badly contaminated areas can be cut around with a sharp knife,
removed, and touched in again.
Remove the coating by running a sharp knife or scraper around
the seams of the panel and peel fromthe top in a continuous
sheet
. The surface must be carefully patch tested on ±
0,5-1 m² before use to ensure no surface attack occursand
the product remains easily peelable after normal usage conditions.
