Hydrocoll W is a white pigmented, water based, peelable protective
coating for application to spraybooth walls etc. for quick
and easy removal of overspray deposits.
Method of use
Use as supplied
Apply through normal pressure-ffed spraying equipment, bearing
in mind the following
1. A 0,5" (13 mm) internal bore fluid pipe should be
utilised to permit fast throughput of the material.
2. The fluid tip on the spray gun should be at least 110 thou
(2,8 mm).
3. Use maximum fluid pressure available, normally around 40
psi (2,5 bar) with 60-80 psi (4-5 bar) airpressure.
Ensure that all equipment is washed out with water before
use, and is free from thinners, etc.
Any trace of thinner will cause coagulation of the emulsion.
A double-pass application should give approx. 4 thou (0,1
mm) dry film thickness.
Coverage up to 5 m²/ltr.
Drying timeapproximately 2-3 hours with good air circulation
at normal room temperature (20° C).
Surface must be carefully tested on ± 0,5-1
m² before use to ensure no surface attack occurs and
theproduct remains easily peelable under normal conditions.
